The Tornado Outbreak of December 10-11, 2021, struck Arkansas as well as several other states. This storm system produced many destructive tornadoes. On December 23, 2021, President Biden declared a major disaster.
People in the following counties are eligible to receive federal disaster assistance:

A disaster legal help hotline is now available for Arkansas survivors affected by the Tornado Outbreak of 2021, on December 10 & 11, 2021. Legal Aid of Arkansas, in partnership with the American Bar Association Young Lawyers Division Disaster Legal Services Team and the Federal Emergency Management Agency, is providing free disaster legal assistance to affected individuals.
Low-income survivors facing legal issues may call 1-800-952-9243 between Monday through
Thursday from 9:00 am to 11:00 am and 1 pm to 3 pm and also on Tuesdays from 5:15 pm to
7:15 pm. Survivors may be matched with volunteer attorneys or, for those who qualify based on
income, connected with a legal aid organization.

Mobile Registration Intake Center: MRICs move around regularly. They will be in an area for a short period of time to help survivors who need registration help. Visit FEMA’s Disaster Declaration page to find more information about the Mobile Registration Intake Center locations and hours.
Disaster Recovery Center: To find a Disaster Recovery Center near you, use the Federal Emergency Management Agency’s DRC locator or text “DRC” and your zip code to 43362 (4FEMA) to locate a Disaster Recovery Center in your area.
